The small south Florida city of Sunrise, in an attempt to boost the housing situation, is now offering potential home buyers a cash incentive, just for moving to the city.
The plan is simple: buyers purchase a short sale or foreclosure home in Sunrise, remodel or renovate through appliance upgrades, landscape improvements, new HVAC, hot water heater, and roofing, and the city then will give the home buyer $2,000.
City leaders and citizens think it’s a great idea to boost the city economy. Those interested in the program are encourage to contact Sunrise City Hall.
