Actress Meg Ryan is once again testing the Bel Air real estate market as she recently re-listed her home in Southern California with a lower asking price of $11.4 million – more than $8 million less than what she was asking for it four years ago. This is the third time that Ryan has listed her classic Spanish-style home since she purchased it in 2000 for $8.5 million.

The home near West Los Angeles was first listed for $19.5 million in 2008 as the U.S began feeling the full brunt of a down economy, especially within the real estate sector. With no buyers in sight by February 2009, the home was taken off the market. Later that year, it re-appeared on the listing service again, with an asking price of $14.2 million.


With still no takers, Ryan decided to become a landlord, renting the home to Diane Keaton for $40,000 a month. Keaton has since moved on.

The six-bedroom, seven-bath home has 6,877 square feet of living space, two family rooms, a film-screening room, separate bar off the kitchen and over-sized master suite.
